Abstract

A questionnaire survey has been conducted to determine the opinion of lecturers on the syllabi in Industrial Psychology. Completed questionnaires have been returned by 36 Industrial psychology lecturers at 14 South African universities. Information has been obtained regarding what subject matter should be included in the syllabi, in what order, and in what proportion. The answers have been analyzed and the results, which follow, have been conveyed to the participating universities, for perusal and application as they see fit. A concise overview of the nature, scope and aims of the subject is included.

Opsomming
'n Vraelys-opname is gemaak van die opinies van dosente oor leerplanne in Bedryfsielkunde. Voltooide vraelyste is terug ontvang van 36 dosente in Bedryfsielkunde aan 14 Suid-Afrikaanse universiteite. Inligting is verkry oor wat in die leerplanne ingesluit moet word, in watter volgorde, en hoeveel van elke deel. Die antwoorde is ontleed en die resultate wat aan deelnemende universiteite teruggevoer is vir oorweging en optrede volgens eie diskresie word hier gerapporteer. Daar word ook kortliks ingegaan op die aard, omvang en doelstellings van die vak.
